San Antonio Gladney Family Assoc. Kick-Off Event

Thanks to everyone who attended this week's Kick-off event at Oak Hills Country Club. A lot of information was shared by Gladney's Frank Garrott, and fun was had by all. If you were not able to make the event, we are sorry we missed you. We look forward to your family joining the GFA, and seeing our Families For Life grow!

Adoptive Father Poem

Adoptive father
I had to be approved to be a father,
While other men didn’t have to bother.
I had to answer questions about my life,
They asked all about me and my wife.
They wanted to know if we were wild,
Or if we were fit to raise a child.
I had to bare my very soul
And explain my every goal.
They don’t understand what I went through,
Because it was something they didn’t have to do.
Most men never have to bother,
But I needed approval to be a father.
